Some things don’t fit in a baler or a roll-off. Broken pallets stack up behind the store, old shelving comes out during a reset, or an office clears out furniture after a move. Greene Recycling offers commercial bulk item pickup for these loads. We come to your site, load the items, and haul them away, so your team doesn’t have to.
Commercial bulk item pickup covers the items businesses most often need gone:
If your load includes something that isn’t on this list, ask. We’ll tell you whether it fits a standard pickup.
A commercial bulk item pickup starts with a short conversation. You tell us what needs to go, where it is on your property, and when the space needs to be clear. We confirm the price, set a pickup date, and send a crew with a truck sized for the load. On the day, our team does the lifting and loading, so your staff can stay on their own work. Before we schedule, it helps to know whether the items are inside or outside, whether there’s dock access, and whether anything needs to be taken apart first, such as shelving units or large fixtures.
We exclude hazardous chemicals, paint, batteries, refrigerants, liquids, and unknown materials unless there’s an approved handling process in place. Electronics, appliances, tires, mattresses, and construction debris may require separate arrangements. For ongoing construction debris, a 20- or 30-yard roll-off is usually the better fit.
Every commercial bulk item pickup is priced as a flat fee. The fee depends on how much there is and how long it will take to remove. Tell us what you have and roughly how much of it, and we’ll give you a price before we schedule the pickup. Photos help, especially for mixed loads or large fixtures.
Store resets and remodels leave behind old shelving and fixtures. Distribution centers collect broken pallets faster than vendors take them back. Offices that are moving or downsizing need furniture gone by a deadline, and retail sites need corrals cleaned up. In each case, one commercial bulk item pickup clears the space without tying up your staff or your dock.
Bulk pickups work alongside the rest of your program. Customers who already use our cardboard bale pickup can add a commercial bulk item pickup to the same account and the same point of contact. Sites with steady loose material may be better served by a roll-off, and sites with high, constant volume may want a 40-yard compactor. We’ll help you sort out which service fits each need.
Many bulk items still have life left in them. Scrap metal can be recycled, and wooden pallets can often be repaired or reused. The EPA tracks how much wood, metal, and furniture reaches landfills each year in its national overview of materials and waste.
